Native Horses
So when we hear the word ‘native’ in the equestrian world we tend to think cute little ponies – Welsh Section A or B, Exmoor, Dartmoor etc. But our natives go from 13-2hh to slightly over 17-2hh and currently include a New Forest, two Welsh Section Ds and a Suffolk Punch.
Our Story
Horses have been in the family for a while now -‘recent’ history started with Grandad and his horses delivering coal. Then a small girl then announcing she’d rather go riding than take up ballet.
It’s gone on from there – a claustrophobic Welsh Section B. a little Welsh Section A that liked to be inside the house, a bay mare who thought she was a stallion and those were just the sensible ones!
Meet the Team
Our current team comprises of 4 Horses-in-Charge, each bringing a unique set of skills to the team.
They are supported by various humans who do the legwork – keeping the office going and making sure Horses-in-Charge have all they need.
The support team comprises several dogs, sheep and cats all of whom play vital roles in enabling us to do what we do.
